ISA’s Research & Development centers are located in Canada, France and the Netherlands. These modern farms are well-equipped to create the finest research conditions for selection and testing. The main focus of the research program is genetic development and improvement. Specific research targets are the improvement of liveability, bird behavior and egg quality, as well as continuing to make progress in egg production and feed efficiency.

ISA own GPS (grand parent stock) facilities on four continents: Europe (the Netherlands, France), North America (USA, Canada), South America (Brazil, Venezuela) and Asia (India and Indonesia). Thanks to the global production structure, they have a high degree of continuity in deliveries to the customers. Also, in the event of a disease threat, all the strains can be produced for alternative sites. State-of-the-art equipment is maintained in the facilities, where the superb lines enjoy a constant climate, feed quality, and ideal veterinary conditions. The implementation of strict bio-security, a large genetic base and heath monitoring programs enable ISA to supply consistent, healthy and high performing layers to the customers.
